OUR STORY
Hey there all you book lovers! Welcome to The Book Hatch – where all your book needs will be met. Here at The Book Hatch we have always been passionate about reading and writing. With our background in Professional Writing, as well as the work we have done through Canada’s leading book retailer Indigo Books & Music Inc., we have shared our passion for books with customers, family members, co-workers, friends, and everyone else that we have been lucky enough to meet along the way.
Our engagement with what customers enjoy and love at work, through RECO, our online social media presence, book reviews, and more we have come to know our customers. What they’re looking for, what they enjoy in books and which new books would be of interest to them.
We believe that reading is essential and because of this we want to help bring the joy we feel when we read a new book to all of you as well. That was when the idea of The Book Hatch was born.
The First Hatching…
It was on a quiet afternoon, as the snow glistened outside frosting our windows that we came up with the name and from there everything hatched into place.
The Book Hatch is focused on Young Adult fiction. Every month will be focused on a new theme with an exciting newly released title with a few selected book goodies. Each box is hand crafted with passion and joy because (from one bookworm to another) we know once we’ve sent our box of goodies our readers will be at the receiving end ready to nurture them for life.

Our Experience…
Every month we work hard on creating a box that will be the best it can be, so you can have the most magical and awe inspiring experience.
We read every book that we feature in our boxes to make sure that they will truly be something that will take you on an exhilarating journey. As a booklover myself, a professional writer and someone who has experience recommending books to individuals, I have come to understand what books work for each and every individual.
